Biography

Before coming to Northwood Tech, Ben taught technology education for thirteen years to middle and high school aged students. During that time, he created and ran the Northwood Fab Lab for six years, in Minong, Wisconsin. Access to design software, trained technicians, and CNC equipment was available for free each week to help students and community members design, create, and fabricate their ideas. In addition, to teaching at Northwood Tech, he also works with a few different employers in the Rice Lake and surrounding area as a machinist.

When not teaching, you can find him outdoors with his family. Camping, hiking, canoeing, biking, and cross-country skiing are a few of their favorites.
