Starting your education at Northwood Tech and then transferring to a university or four-year college doesn’t have to be an overwhelming process.
Students who take classes towards a University Transfer Degree - Associate of Arts or Associate of Science at Northwood Tech can usually expect to transfer most of their credits to any university or have a guaranteed transfer to UW-Superior.
Below is a drop-down menu searchable by either Northwood Tech programs or universities to transfer to. When you select a program or college/university below:
- The transfer degree is listed in the title (i.e. B.S., Business Administration)
- If available, a transfer guide will be available to download. This will have a course-to-course listing as to how your degree will transfer.
If you are considering transferring, please work with the transfer coordinator at the college/university that you want to attend next. They will be able to assist with the transfer process and will be responsible for the final credit transfer decision.

- Enroll as a new freshmen at Northwood Tech in either the Associate of Arts or Associate of Science program
- Complete the Declaration of Intent
- Complete the credits needed for junior standing at Northwood Tech within three years of the initial enrollment
- Meet with a transfer program advisor at Northwood Tech at least once per semester
- Earn a minimum 2.0 Cumulative GPA and a minimum 2.0 GPA the term prior to transfer
- Meet minimum requirements for admission to UW-Superior

- If you are already planning to attend a four-year college or university after attending Northwood Tech, it is highly recommended that you talk to an admissions counselor or academic advisor at the four-year college of your choice.
