Request Transcript

Official Transcripts

A transcript is an official record of a student's academic history. Your transcript includes all courses, grades and degrees awarded. You may request:

  • Undergraduate Transcript - All credit classes
  • Continuing Education Transcript - Non-credit classes, including personal and professional development courses and traffic classes
  • GED or HSED Transcript - Provided by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction

 

  • Order Transcripts Online
    • Northwood Tech has partnered with Parchment (recommended, fastest option) to provide you with a fast and secure online transcript ordering service.
      • A photo ID is required for transcript pickup
      • Transcripts may be picked up by another individual if the student has designated them during the ordering process. This individual will also need a photo ID at time of pick up.
  • Delivery
    • Online: Order through Parchment 
    • In-person pick-up: Same day processing in-person pick-up is available for a $14 fee per transcript. Pick-up delivery orders received after 11 a.m. may not be available until the next business day. 
    • If you are authorizing someone else to pick up your transcript, you must provide their name in your request. Photo ID is required at the time a pick-up is made. Please note, transcripts that are not picked up after 15 days will be mailed to the address you provided when placing your transcript order. 
    • You can request an official transcript at any Northwood Tech student services office. Northwood Tech Student Services hours are:

    • Online requests (deliver to recipient or next-day pick-up in the Enrollment Center): $8
      • Additional fees may apply for expedited and/or international orders.
    • Same-day requests for in-person pick-up: $14

Unofficial Transcripts

Unofficial transcripts have the same information as an official transcript, but they are printed on plain paper and do not contain the electronic signature of the registrar. There is no fee for unofficial transcripts.

  • Electronic - MyNorthwoodTech Portal (Preferred)
    • The quickest and most convenient way to request an unofficial transcript is to order it through your MyNorthwoodTech portal. Unofficial transcripts are available to currently-enrolled and former students with an active login and password. Contact student services with any questions regarding portal access or assistance in navigating MyNorthwoodTech. 
  • In-Person
    • In-person requests for unofficial transcripts can be placed at any Northwood Tech Student Services Office. You will need to complete a paper Unofficial Transcript Request Form. As required by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, Northwood Tech must have written authorization to release your unofficial transcript (requests cannot be taken over the phone or via e-mail). Pick-up delivery orders received after 11 a.m. may not be processed until the next business day. 
    • If you are authorizing someone else to pick up your transcript, you must provide their name in your request. Photo ID is required at the time pick-up is made. Please note that transcripts not picked up after 15 days will be destroyed. 
  • Mail
    • If you do not have access to MyNorthwoodTech, you may complete and mail or fax a paper Unofficial Transcript Request Form to one of the student services locations listed on the bottom of the form. As required by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, Northwood Tech must have written authorization to release your unofficial transcript (requests cannot be taken over the phone or via e-mail). If you are authorizing someone else to pick up your transcript, you must provide their name in your request. Photo ID is required at the time pick-up is made. 

GED/HSED Transcripts:

Although you may have completed your GED/HSED coursework at Northwood Tech, you must request your official transcript through the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction provides GED/HSED transcripts and verifications.
