Biography

My professional background includes five years of retail pharmacy experience where I learned and honed my technician skills to become a certified pharmacy technician. I worked in an acute care setting at a hospital and pharmacy for ten years where I prepared IV solutions and syringes, stocked crash carts and med cabinets, ordered medications, inventory and trained new employees. Most recently, I have worked in a small critical access hospital pharmacy with an infusion center.

My pharmacy experiences allow me to draw on real-life experiences, as well as apply best practice methods to teach different learning styles. 

When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and outdoors on the farm with my alpacas, donkeys and horse.
