A New Beginning
A good friend in my hometown attended Northwood Tech, and he recommended it to me. I have always had a passion for the Sciences; and I wanted a chance to learn new skills. My advisor helped me to choose the University Transfer Degree program and inspired me to believe in myself. I wanted to learn about mathematics that I had not tried before, so I could advance in a new career path.
Multifaceted Artistry in Motion
I play in the Northland College community Jazz Band this semester as their drummer. I also perform and create my own original musical pieces. I had my artwork exhibited at the Black Cat Coffee House in Ashland in October and November.
I am a multi-talented musician and artist that has recorded and released three studio albums. Because of this, I have become regionally well-known, and even have a following of international fans and listeners from many countries.
A Versatile Skill Set.
I have worked 16 different jobs since I was 15 years old. Many of the local businesses have employed me at one point. Mostly retail jobs, but I have also been a landscaper, electrician, and worked at our local hospital as a kitchen staff member. I currently work at the Ashland Baking Company in the kitchen.
Exploring Career Possibilities
I plan to study Chemistry and Anatomy, and hopefully find a path into the medical field. I want to learn more about languages and cultures, as well. I have many interests, but I am not sure which career is ideal for me at this point. With the time I invest in Northwoods Tech, I hope to find a career that fulfills my interests, but also is financially viable for a better future!
