Generative AI 101

Generative AI is everywhere, but what is it, where did it come from, and what can you actually do with it? This session will break down Generative AI like ChatGPT, explore how they generate text, and show you how to get better results with smarter prompts. We’ll also cover the risks—like bias and misinformation—so you can use Generative AI effectively without falling for its tricks for today’s Administrative Professionals.

Kyle Leia Heyesen
Join Kyle Leia Heyesen, MSW, E-RYT 500, YACEP and founder of Svälja Whole-Being and Planning Unit Supervisor at St. Louis County PHHS for this opportunity. Kyle Leia has been teaching yoga since 2002 and has created a 40 hour Trauma-Conscious Certification she has been providing for the since 2018.
Emily Laird
Emily Laird is the AI Integration Technologist at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, where she works to advance AI literacy and integrate emerging technologies into the curriculum. Emily is also an industry consultant offering insights to enhance AI literacy and explore practical applications of AI and Generative AI in various sectors. Additionally, she hosts the podcast "Generative AI 101," sharing accessible insights into AI tools and their potential.
