Biography
I've spent more than three decades in various sized hospital and clinical laboratories working as a phlebotomist and medical laboratory scientist along with lab operation management and technical consulting. I remain passionate about laboratory medicine and the role is has in patient care. Quality laboratory results start with quality specimen collection. My goal is to share the knowledge taught to me over the years with the next generation of laboratory professionals.
In my free time, I enjoy volunteering with the Scouts, BSA and helping scouts reach the rank of Eagle Scout. I also enjoy being outdoors camping, hiking and checking out new places as well as learning new things like candle making, making maple syrup and learning Sign Language.
