Biography
Jami has 17 years of experience working as a pharmacy technician and has witnessed the evolution of the healthcare industry throughout that time. She has experience with community, hospital and long-term care pharmacies and has worked alongside many phenomenal pharmacists who showed her how to genuinely care for patients. She also has training in business management, leadership, inventory and purchasing, which provides her with a well-rounded scope of pharmaceutical skills.
Jami's desire to impact the pharmaceutical industry beyond her personal experience is what inspired her to pursue teaching. She hopes to help shape new technicians that can adapt to constant change while providing meaningful patient care. Her teaching philosophy is that students learn best by doing, which she implements in her courses.
In her spare time, she enjoys exploring the outdoors with her family. She also enjoys baking and playing games with her kids and reading, running and spending time with friends.
