Biography
Mila has over 25 years experience as a nurse. She graduated from WITC - Ashland in 1997 with her ADN. She worked 5 years in public health obtaining her BSN during that time. She then went to hospital nursing where she worked in all areas of acute care. Her primary focus recently has been in OB. Mila obtained her Masters of Nursing from Walden University and started teaching in Summer of 2014. She took a short break from teaching to focus on family and worked at the hospital.
Mila returns to teaching at Northwoods with a renewed excitement to help students excel in their chosen path of nursing. Mila's experience gives her the knowledge to relate the classroom experience with real world nursing.
