Biography

Heather has always loved teaching and learning. Part of her previous work experience included training new nursing staff, which she found to be rewarding. This experience encouraged her to pursue nursing education. She enjoys finding new ways to teach and make learning exciting. She understands that everyone learns in different ways, and it is her philosophy to teach to everyone’s unique learning style. She believes that every student should have the opportunity to learn in a way that suits their own style. Heather remembers what it was like as a nursing student and how nerve-racking it can be. She hopes to make learning an enjoyable experience for her students.

In her spare time, Heather loves to snowboard with her family. She also enjoys crafting with her girls. Her passion is photography.
