Biography

Anna Harms graduated with her BSN from UW-Eau Claire and earned her MSN-Education from Western Governors University. She started her career as a registered nurse in 2002 in the Chicago area. There, she was able to work in multiple departments with a diverse population. After moving to northern Wisconsin, she worked in women’s health and primary care where she was a registered nurse supervisor. These experiences have provided Anna with an appreciation for the various options nurses can choose for their career path.

Anna draws from these experiences in the classroom. She hopes that by providing examples from real-life situations, she can help to prepare the future nurses for what to expect on the job.  

In her spare time, Anna enjoys spending time with her family and attending her kids' activities. She also enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors.
