Biography

I have been preparing to teach for most of my adult life. I worked in almost every aspect of the hospitality industry for over 20 years including management and leadership positions with Walt Disney World, Rock Bottom Restaurants, TGI Friday's, and Banana Republic. Recently I was a project director for Gradient Financial Group, which expanded my Human Resources knowledge. While working for these companies, I lived and traveled throughout the USA. These diverse positions prepared me for my current teaching role in leadership and development. I'm dedicated to helping students learn how to learn. I give them the basic knowledge and then work with them to apply this knowledge in their current or future positions.

In my free time, I love to spend time with my family, including four nephews who play hockey and baseball. I adopted a rescue dog, Winnie, in 2022 when she was just 13 weeks old. I also love to travel and watch just about any sport!
