“Learn a new word or quote, a trivial fact or a kitchen hack. It does not really matter what it is, just do it! At the end of a month, you will have learned 30 new things, and by the end of the year, that is over 360! Think of what that number could be in a lifetime!”

Biography
Dr. Mary Goldsmith brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Northwood Tech. She has over 17 years of teaching experience, a formal education in chiropractic medicine, a State of Wisconsin teaching licensure and a Master of Education. It’s no wonder that her teaching philosophy is to learn and read something new every day.
Dr. Goldsmith was inspired to become a teacher by her mother who became a teacher in her 40s, while raising eight children. She often told Mary to become a teacher, and she acknowledges that her mother was right all along.
In her spare time, Dr. Goldsmith enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, taking care of her pets, bird watching, hunting, fishing and all things Halloween (which is a year-round event for her).
