Biography
Adele Richie has over 20 years of experience working in various aspects of the criminal justice system, which provides her with a robust knowledge of the industry. For 14 years, she worked for the State of Wisconsin Department of Corrections as a senior probation agent. She has experience working in child protective services, juvenile delinquency and residential treatment/mental health as well as working with local and state law enforcement departments, drug task forces and community programming in domestic abuse and child safety.
Adele is passionate about the criminal justice field and enjoys sharing her knowledge and experiences with her students. She believes students need to actively be a part of the learning process, so she aims to engage all students in the classroom discussions and group interactions.
In her spare time, Adele enjoys being outdoors. She loves to kayak, hike and snowshoe. She also enjoys traveling, especially to New York to visit her son.
