The Broadband Academy is an online format along with hands-on assessments. It provides the most up-to-date technical training in the areas of computer information systems, wireless communications, cable TV and telephones and has three main levels: broadband customer service specialist, broadband installer and technician, and advanced networking specialist.

The program is available to the unemployed, underemployed, those who want to move up in their jobs, and even high school students who want to explore technical careers.

The program is recognized by the NTCA-Rural Broadband Association, Wisconsin State Telecommunications Association and the Minnesota Telecom Alliance. Because of the online format, the program is available nationwide and has served students as far away as Alaska and Colorado.

Broadband Academy is an IMPACT program 100% funded by US Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration.
