Biography
My work experience includes teen, adult and geriatric rehabilitation with a focus on traumatic brain injury, neurological impairment, and hand therapy. I have a variety of experience, including rehabilitation hospital, outpatient hand clinic, sub-acute, acute, swing-bed, long-term care, and home health. I have provided occupational therapy services in cardiac rehab, pulmonary rehab, aquatic therapy, driving assessment, and trained, supervised and worked closely with many occupational therapy assistants. I have a great understanding of the role of the occupational therapy assistant within many work settings, and my varied experience helps give students a broad perspective of the profession.
In my spare time, I enjoy attending Wisconsin Badgers, Green Bay Packers, and Chicago Cubs games, traveling, home improvement projects, cooking, kayaking, reading and spending time with my family.
