Biography

I spent 25 years working with young children as an early childhood special education teacher and an inclusionary model kindergarten teacher. My passion for working with young children and their families and advocating for developmentally appropriate practice kept me in the field of early childhood education and led me to Northwood Tech. I believe that being passionate about what you teach and how you teach it is what gets students invested in what they are learning, a philosophy I employ just as much at Northwood Tech as I did in early childhood education. I aim to provide opportunities for practice while I provide guidance throughout the process and then focus on reflection to ensure learning is purposeful and authentic. 

I look forward to sharing what I have learned over the years with new students.
