Biography
I have an extensive background in Early Childhood Education as a Program Director and Administrator in a variety of settings from private nonprofit to corporate. Teacher/staff development has been a passion with a focus on identifying and empowering individual strengths. My experience in the field provides an important perspective for students preparing to enter the profession, and an understanding of the challenges and rewards in ECE. The field of ECE is continually evolving as we learn more about development, systems, and environments; yet the priority on human connection remains the same. I believe quality classrooms include experiential and sensory learning opportunities from infant through adult.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, attending live music and theater, singing and dancing, reading, decorating, gardening, cheering on the Badgers and the Vikings, and approaching every day with enthusiasm.
